spz - You need a much larger tank. A canister is the best bet for filtering and cleaning. When choozing a filter/pump you will need one that pumps at least 5 times the water volume that is in the tank. If you have four turtles you will need at least a 80 gallon just to get by. Now, as far as their behavior you will have to watch them closely. One may want to dominate the tank and you will have to do something about that. Good Luck!
