same here. I use it as a regular syphon and have it drain to the bath tub (on the 3rd floor of an apartment building neighbors downstairs wont appreciate turtle water on their balcony)
I fill the tank up by hooking it to my shower head (which conveniently has a splitter valve attached to it). My python doesnt fit on my sink faucet.
