I've had a Marineland visitherm stealth heater for about 7 months and it has stopped working. It was extremely accurate, then just quit working. Has anyone ever sent one back to the manufacturer under warranty for repair, or had a similar problem? any rec's for other heaters? Thanks!!

ive had a visitherm stealth for about a year now and havent had any problems. you should definetly send it back. im not sure how long it may take though so you might have to end buying another heater while you wait for it to come back. at least you would have a back up then

The Visi therms have a lifetime warranty. (one of the reasons I bought mine.) So I would call em up or email them and ask how to go about obtaining the warranty service.

You might be without a heater for a week or two though while it's being shipped and replaced. Stuff like that should only take about a day or two to turn around and ship back. Do you have a heater that could at least help keep up the temps?

I have one that seems to be kaput as well. I haven't as yet tried to get it replaced, though.

L-Smom -- I had one for years and called them and had a new on in two days. Give them a call and I think you will be pleasently surprised. M.
