My Juliet's getting a little bit bigger. We have an apartment, but hopefully not for too long --wanna get a bigger tank anyway, just because she's a spoiled little turtle. I'm thinkin 55 gallons should do for just a bit. What type of filter should I buy to go along with this new tank. I'd like to get something that I can use in the future when we upgrade again. Thanks

whatever you get make sure it is rated for a tank larger than what you have

If you are getting a 55 gallon tank, I think any of the major canister filters will do well. Rena XP3, XP4, Fluval FX5, Eheim. The bigger, the better, because you would hate to have to upgrade the filter. Are you sure she's a girl? You probably want to look into a filter that will work on a 100-120 gallon tank, that way you don't have to upgrade.
