I just got the large zoomed turtle dock today. Has anyone ever tried and had any luck attaching plastic plants or anything with silicone? I have some plants that I think would look nice along the back edge or something.

Thanks!

You could try it. You need to make sure it is aquarium grade silicone. I honestly don't know if it wil adhere or not but its worth a try :)

Let us know if it works.

I got the silicone at Big Al's so no problem there - I'm just worried about how well it would stick to the dock. Anyone...?

So, I just played around with aquarium silicone for the first time, I adhered glass rocks onto plexiglass, and attached PVC pipes and connectors to it, and after some trying, it adhered all of that. And based on how sticky the stuff is, I would be it'll adhere. Start off by working on the back side of the dock, you know, the part that would be against the glass, and stick some silicon to it and let it dry overnight, see how well it's attached. That way, if it doesn't work, you won't see it!

Thanks TCG, I think I will try a little bit of silicone where it can't be seen. :) I don't have much experience with it except for sticking some suction cups on cork bark.
