Hello all again!

I have a question about the XP3 filter. I was wondering if it's safe to run the filter with the outlet valve limiting the water output so that it's not so strong? Or do you have to run these things at full throttle?

Thanks all!!

you can slow down the output, there is a valve that should have came with it.

I think long term it's bad for the motor.

I've read it's not good to consistently keep it that way. If you're using the spigot, aim it toward the wall of the tank to lessen the current. I've used the spray bar (also aimed at a wall) to soften the flow of the water.
