anyone ever seen/used one of these? looks nice, just a little weird on the water level.

dawn-98 -- Marineland is a good brand. I have the canister 350 and it is in the cabinet below. It is out of the way and very easy to clean. I bit the bullet years ago and I am glad I did. The Fluval 405, is also good. I always choose the easy way out. Cleaning is a breeze.

I love the filter... other than the length of the output tube and intake tubes... .its amazing... doesnt create a killer current for my little guppies or anything either... i recommend it!!!
