Feeding and Nutrition :: One turtle is eating all of the food

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I have two young turtles. One is shy or something and always stays in the corner, but the other one swims openly and is always running around. I thought both were eating fine until I realized that when I put food down, the active one is eating all of the food and leaving none for the other turtle.

Is there any way to make the other turtle eat or keep the active turtle from eating all of the food besides separating them?

There's really no way to make sure without separating them. Take the hyper one out for feeding and feed the shy one in the tank.
