Yay, I've found a use for Georges old tank. I'm going to breed feeder guppies for him! I cleaned out the old tank, put in his old gravel, and tomorrow I'm going to add the guppies! I'm heaps excited! Hopefully they will breed quick enough to keep him well supplied with food. This is what it looks like so far. I'm going to cover the basking area with sand and some decorations. I'll probably add some other fish too, for looks.

p.s. sorry if this isn't the right topic to put this under... I was thinking guppies/ food/ nutrition

what if they fish went basking?

LOL
Great setup. Maybe your could fill it near the top so you could put more guppies in. Might also reduce the chance of a guppy with mental problems going up the ramp and flopping around on the dock

Make sure you read Missi's guide: http://www.redearslider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5310

Good luck (I've never had any with guppies)

If they jump on the basking area then they have selected themselves for Georges dinner. Natural selection. I think we'll get a breeding net to protect the baby's. And yes, I've read Missi's guide, cheers steve.
