hey guys my new little baby turtle ate 1 feeder fish thismorning at about 8:00 am and then he ate another at 8:00 pm and hes only a little guy ! can that hurt em?? heres a pic of him .

Oh if your wondering the spots u see he had before i braught him home to a good enivironment now hes basking alot and swimming alot and hes eating lettuce and he eats reptomin and feeder fish. should these better conditions heal his shell? anyways the main topic here is the feeder fish.?

for your first question it's fine for your turtle to have feeder fish, it won't hurt him in anyway. Just remember not to many.

Second: As the turtle gets older he/she should shed those dry spots.

He said his turtle has eaten reptomin so im guessing his turt its pellets.

Ha Ha, I'm not the only one who gets in trouble for scanning, lol.

I have a question about the shell...does it appear to be getting better with the new environment, staying the same, or getting worse. Depending on the type of issues going on with the shell, it may just stay like that but not affect your turt. Other conditions (like shell rot) could get worse and need additional treatment. When I brought my guys home, one had a couple of silverish spots and they have never gone away...they haven't gotten worse or bigger either.
