My dear hubby suggested a Veggie Clip for Zeke's tank as well as we bought a peeler to peel large carrots, we peeled one slice off put it in his tank in the veggie clip, and he LOVES it! YEAH! He hasn't been to fond of the carrot peels I have been giving him, but MAN he loves the new strips.

You can see all the chunks he's taken out of it. I am very happy as carrots are good for him...now if I can get him to eat his lettuce which he still isn't liking. :(

Where did you get the veggie clip? I would love one to keep the carrots afloat for my little ones!

Those veggie clips are available in the fish section of petstores.

Great idea, Heather. I've got a veggie clip that I haven't used in ages. I'll probably use it with Tanner - it'll make clean up of uneaten lettuce much easier.

We bought it at a petstore in the fish section. It works great. Just suction cups to the side, and clips the lettuce in. He's not been eating his lettuce very good, and it's getting stuck in the filter, so this will help with that. Plus he hasn't really liked the carrots, so we've been feeding in a separate tank to facilitate cleaner tank, so may not need to do that anymore...but we shall see.

I should look for a veggie clip too! Otherwise Ralph's lettuce ends up on his dock...
