Can you post more information (or a picture) of your RES's tank setup? What is the water temp?

Do you have the proper lighting. This happened to me before. Also, what do you have him in and your setup?

Sry....... I m unable to upload the pic. But I can say that I have a 23X16cm transparent box with 4.3itres of water in it. The box has a upside down glass bowl in the centre where my RES sometimes sit there. And for basking area at night I keep my RES into anothsame sized box but with 40W lamp in it.
Water temperature is 65°F around.

Yeah! The pic got uploaded. Is this a proper setup? If no then tell me the correct one through any pic. The store from where I bought told me that this setup will work for my young RES. She is not growing bigger also. It's 3months now and almost same size as I bought earlier. I dont know what to do! Please send me a pic or something to help!

You need a filter. You also need a basking light over a basking platform that must look invinting to your turtle. You need a heater. I also would get a tank soon. Don't leave the lights on at nigjt. Turtles rest like us.

He's not going to find much of a filter for 4 liters. What have you been feeding it?

As long as your willing the change the water everyday, this setup will be okay until the turtle gets bigger.

I would suggest getting a heater so the water temperature is closer to 75-80F and adding a basking light to the basking area or access to sunlight during the day.
You don't need a basking light at night unless your just using the bulb to keep the turtle box warm at night.

Lastly, I'd swap out the smooth glass bowl with a rock or a wood. They maybe easier for the turtle to climb.

HELP!
DAY 3 - Still didn't ate a thing.

I daily keep him in sunlight like for an hour. I change the water too and always measure the water temperature with thermometer. In his basking area I already had a lamp of 40W like I told u. And I feed him tubifex worms dried and also bought pellets lateron.

Last night I was studying about RES on net and I read about brumation. Here's already climate turned 27°C. But my room temperature is 34°C. So might be my RES stopped eating because she thinks it's winter. Somehow yesterday I make her believe by keeping her in lightning lamp whole 10hours that it's still summer. But idk somehow she recognizes it's winter.

I thought in this setup he will be more free to move. Because mostly in aquariums they try all the tym to get escape and scratch their nails against glass. Moreover a big tank setup is a bad idea for such a young one RES. See I m very concern about my RES. She's my life. I don't have any financial problem but want accurate info where she actually will survive. So should Itransform her habitat from box to aquarium after a week or so??

You can use the tub, just get lights and a heater.

you can try putting your tub near a window.

Yes, you should put her in a tank with setup. Nothing will happen. You want your turtle to live? Do that. I almost lost mine because of this.
