Freeze dried vs. frozen vs. fresh
Wondering about the differences between feeding Trevor things like freeze dried cranberries (which come in the prepared turtle food I buy from petstore) vs. frozen cranberries/blueberries (purchased from grocery store in bags, which I'd thaw out before giving to him) or just fresh cranberries/blueberries?
I'm guessing fresh would be best...but is sometimes hard to find, and wondering how much nutritional value is lost when the fruit is freeze dried or frozen?
Thanks!
Also- my nephew dropped half a hard boiled egg into Trevor's tank this morning, without me knowing. By the time I got the truth out of Carson as to where the rest of his breakfast went if HE didn't eat it (I was assuming he gave it to the dog)...there is no trace of the egg in Trevor's tank...I'm guessing Trevor ate it. Is that ok or should I be worried? Trevor doesn't seem to be acting differently...
