Ok. I've tried looking through the old posts but find nothing about my problem. My four year old female has stopped eating approximately a week ago and hangs around in areas of the tank she never stayed in before. She spends less time "sunning" and more time underwater. Should I be concerned?

What's the water temperature? If the water is about 75F and there are no other symptoms, then I'll try to just entice her with some treats. A few people say their RES are less active during the winter season (SAD - seasonal affective disorder) but snap out of it when it's warmer outside.

The water temp is 74 degrees. I guess I'm freaking out unnecessarily. It's just new behavior for her, but she looks OK. I'm going to put some rosies in there; if she doesn't eat them, at least they'll help keep the tank clean.

Not really a good thing to feed her, but it's good to know she has an appetite.
