Cucumber just for fiber

Indian roofed turtle: he is just over 1.5 inches. Been with me for a year (15 months almost. They grow slow!). (I also wanted to have him aged, but maybe in other thread/area later..)
After reading about greens on the links provided at other places in this forum, I am still asking this question, so don't get agitated please...

I just want to know if I can keep a slice/or half a cucumber (without skin) in the tank, so that my fish can also nip at it, and my turtle may eat it whenever he wants. So, is it okay if the turtle eats it frequently??

I am not saying that I feed cucumber only. I feed him the sticks, dried bloodworms, tubifex, and treats once in a while. the last treat was apple slice. I just want to know if he overeats cucumber, is it okay or not?? (It is just like asking if he overeats the plants, if any, in the tank!)

Very little nutrition in it. The fiber would be in the skin.

^ marisa is right, most of the nutrients in most fruits and veges are in, and just under, the skins
