Odd feeder fish behavior

I bought 8 feeder fish and one had a black spot on its tail. I read somwere that means its pregnant. I isolated her in a bowl with gravel/a log.She died today (idk why) and theres now white stuff on the log. Are these fiish eggs? If so what should i do with them?

Yeah a picture would help.
I had a rosy red minnow turn completely black once then died a couple days later. Thought it was mating behavior but never found out.

Well i cant post pics right now. My camera isnt working wiith me. But does anyone know what the eggs would look like?

I think they look round and clearish.

Nope its fungus. Ill washh it off in warm water.
