how much of a portion am i supposed to feed my res with veggies. like a handful or the as big as its head rule. and also squishy seems to just bite off the lettuce and spit it back out

I usually put the whole leaf for my 2 RES. Will be gone within an hour!

It depends on what else you're feeding and how much. There is no set amount for the main veggie/lettuce portion, though my RES get roughly a leaf each per day.

My RES likes to eat Romaine lettuce and I cut up into small one inch squares. I give her about 4-5 pieces at a time.
