Bently enjoys fruit. I don't feed it to him often because of what this site says. How often do you feed your turtle fruit? Also, I was wondering if once a week is too much.

Once a week is possibly a bit too much, depending on the size you are feeding and your turtle's size. Since a serving isn't really defined on the site, I say that a serving size is about the size of your turtle's head. An amount that size is probably okay about twice a month. Fruit is high in sugar, so you don't want to overdo that. Most turtles love fruit, so don't feel bad about not giving it that often. My turtle could eat just fruit if she had her way!
Oh, and if you can be very strict with yourself, you could feed fruit a bit more often if you cut back the size. So, a half-size serving each week could be acceptable. But you have to make sure you don't give more than a half-size serving!

Ok so I'll just give Bently a half head sized piece of fruit about once a week.

This week my turts have had some blueberries, cantelope and cherries (along with other foods). Not a lot, but the total amount is definitely more than half the size of their heads.
