I have 2 baby Cumberland Sliders.They're about 2-2 1/2 in. I feed them ReptoMin Pellets(Regular Size;NOT baby!)I feed them 3 pellets a day.At 3 different times.Should I start feeding my turtles fruits and veggies already?I don't know how old they are,but I've had them about 6 months.They have to be a year or less than a year old.(Not completely sure)Anyway should I?

No matter the age, you can start trying fruits and veggies. Mine took to veggies at 1.5 inches. Stick with the safer veggies like lettuce and smaller portions of actual fruits and veggies until they are used to it. I know mine had difficulty crunching larger sizes of like carrots, so I stuck with strips until she was bigger.

Try also an aquatic plant like anacharis.

Carrots are fine, make sure you wash them first.
