Ok - be patient with me. I know the pellets to fit the head size "rule" but I am very challenged when it comes to imagining size and scale. I cant basically. I have a big room to decorate and I buy small little knick knacks - the size is all wrong. I have a small room and I buy large furniture. I just cant imagine size well at all.... trying to abstractly fit pellets into the turtles head - absolutely impossible!! So...

How many reptomin type pellets do you feed your four inch turtle?
Mom to:

1 RES - Tuck
3 Cats - Max, Theo, & Smokey
Lots of mollies and platies
1 Pleco - Spot
1 brand new betta
AND
2 very wild and creative 6 year old humans!

If you posted a photo of your turtle's head next to the reptomin pellets, we can help a lot more!

i use a little more than 1/4 teaspoon. looking at the measuring spoon i realized it was about the same size as his head

I give Izzy 4 or 5 pellets 6 out of 7 days a week.

I know that someone is going to tell me that is wrong so I am going to go find the thread where that was suggested to me!
