i found with my bummed off fairy moss and duckweed. a couple snails and a bajillion things that look like a cross between a seamonkey



and a mosquitoe larvae



i'm willing to bet its a mosquitoe larvae because they were selling mosquitoe fish.

i really want to put the plants in but i'm worried about the mosquitoe larvae

what do you think?

It's most likely mosquito larvae, since sea monkeys need very salty water to survive. (They are also called Brine Shrimp)

I'm thinking the turtles may eat them, but you also might end up with a LOT of mosquitos in your house.

If your turtle tank is this huge, clean tank with a huge powerful filter system, I doubt the mosquitoes will survive, as they need stagnant water.

Either way, it's your choice!
