Are hornworms safe to feed RES? Bently had one before. I feed them to my bearded dragon so I'm just wondering. They are soft bodied and high in calcium. If I can't feed hornworms, what other soft body worms can I feed him?

Horn worms are fine as an occasional treat, but in my experience they make a big mess. Butter worms, silk worms, and phoenix worms sre fine too. Wax worms once in a very great while. They're pretty fatty.

Earthworms are good, as long as you get them from a "clean" source; ie, no pesticides or herbicides in the dirt.

Hornworms are fine. Mine get them about once a month. At $2 each, I've made them an occasional treat.
