I've seen banana flavored cuttlebone and other flavors in the bird section and was wondering if it would be good or bad for my turtle.

I've heard it's fine for turtles.
I think it's a bit more expensive though.
I saw it once, and was thinking about getting it but then decided against it because I didn't want my turts to get hooked on it and not go back to plain cuttlebone

It doesn't taste like Bananas. Trust me. It tastes like normal cuttlebone.

What kind of turtle stuff to you want me to taste next

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that no one be sampling the turtle foods and supplements. Taking in calcium in excess can lead to a number of problems, most so subtle that you may not notice them and later discover your organs, including your heart, are failing. Also, taking in vitamins and minerals in forms that our bodies cannot easily digest can tax the liver and kidneys. There is a reason that women aren't encouraged to buy calcium cuttlebone and gnaw on it!

Now, I'm not going to recommend it, but I really want to know if my cat's food actually tastes like chicken or beef or whatever the flavor is tonight. I somehow doubt it, but I'm so not trying it!

I usally taste it then spit it out. It tastes BAD.

I can SMELL it when I am chipping away at the backing, and it doesn't smell like it would TASTE very good. The dust from it actually irritates me. If I didn't KNOW it was good for my turtle and birds I wouldn't think that stuff was edible by anything.

I ate Reptomin once. It was a dare.

It tasted like fish-flavoured waffles.

I don't know if your cat food is the dry or wet kind....but I've tasted the wet cat food in beef flavor, It was very salty and had the consistency of sawdust. I guess it tasted a little like beef, but the salt overpowered it.

But hey I got $5 from the bet. Haha

Oh boy! You kids are crazy!!! When I was younger, the worst we ever did was make "suicides" out of the fountain drink machines. My cousin dared me to try hot sauce for money, but when I tried it, she refused to pay up.

OMG.. you all eat pets food? hehe.. sounds fun but i don't think so for the good taste.. If I'm not mistaken the cuttlebone taste nothing except for the smell is salty.. hehe..

Maybe I need to try taste my cat's food.. the one in can.. always smells great.. kikiki
