Hi guys my GF got me a RES the other day, now I am learning a lot about these little guys lol, so much. Now I have this plant in my house, it grows in the water so i put a piece in the tank. Its name is Marble queen, its a red and yellow spotted plant, I was wondering if it is safe for the little guy to eat. I saw him nibbling on on the roots of it, but I am not one hundred percent sure about it, so can anyone out there help me out please and thank you.

I'm not really sure about the plants, I just feed mine Anacharis and Dandilion Leaves- but I would take it out until you are sure it's safe.

Doesn't seem safe for cats or dogs, so you might want to keep it away from your turtles. Look into some anarchis if you want some live plants in your tank.
