I currently have two large pomegranates in my room (yummmm) and I was wondering if I could feed some of the seeds to Donatello or if it wouldn't be healthy for him. I doubt she'll eat it (I haven't been able to get her to eat anything other than red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce, and collards).
In other news, I just bought blueberries for Donatello, and she is terrified of them. I tried handfeeding one to her and she would swim up to it, sniff it, tuck her head in her shell and swim backwards frantically (this happened repeatedly). I finally just dropped the blueberry into the tank hoping that she would become used to it and eat it, but a few minutes later, I caught her swimming up to it (it sunk to the bottom), sniffing it, and swimming away frantically. She's normally fearless when she's in the water, so I was surprised to see that she was actually afraid of a blueberry. Maybe she is just like me (I hate blueberries).
