Carrots

Are carrots ok to feed turtles? i usally buy a small package of the baby carrots you know tiny ones about the size of your pinky and i cut them in half length wise to get 2 skinny pinky size ones and then i put em on a clip and then feed em to my 2 turtles they go nuts for em they abosulty love them lol is it ok? to give them can to many carrots be bad or the more the better? heres a pic LOL

Carrots are ok in moderation. I don't use them as a staple veggie. About once a week or so i toss in some carrot.

EDIT: I also shave my carrots so they are super thin or else I pull out the carrot peeler and shave some off that way.

Carrots are OK. But try to throw in some different veggies in there, like raddichio, endives and even aquatic plants.

I buy the prebagged salads with shredded carrots in there. They love them!

My turtles love carrots you can do what starchick said or sometimes they sale shredded carrots in a package but those are sometimes hard to find
