i actually called my credit card company and had them reverse the payment. at this rate, i think i'll be able to get the mizuri from somewhere else much quicker.

yeah i would call the credit card company and get your money back. its looking like your not going to get it from that company.

*** UPDATE***

I just called them up, and a lady answered finally.

She said that the shipments of the Mazuri got delayed because of the flooding in the midwest, but they had been expecting the shipment and had shipping labels for the 28th, so they sent out order confirmations, but then their own shipment was delayed.

They just got mazuri in yesterday, and she said that my order left yesterday, shipped via Priority mail, and should be here either saturday or monday.

She also emailed me a tracking number, which when checked, everything was processed and shipped.

as of right now, I am a bit put at ease a bit about my order.

at this point, I'd just be happy to get my freakin mazuri, im not gonna waste anymore time with them trying to get reimbursement if my order shows up.

Hey Canadians,

In the suburbs of Toronto there's Pacific Mall. It's in Scarborough/Markham at Kennedy and Steeles. There are quite a few small aquarium stores diagonal from the mall and many of them carry Mazuri, but I don't remember how much it costs.

This is the area I'm talking about, they are in small plazas all along that short walk. I didn't know Mazuri was special, I usually stop in there on my way back from the grocery store. I'll be sure to get some on my next lettuce run.

the mazuri FINALLY came in today! just went and checked the mailbox and there was a package waiting for me.

Squirt loves them! He ate 6 pellets in about 10 seconds. then went begging again like okay wheres the next course. haha

1lb of pellets is A LOT of pellets lol, I didn't think there would be so much.

this incidient turned out really funny for me. i saw chris's post last friday so i contacted them again and she finally answered. i explained to her that i had just cancelled the order due to their lack of response and she said she sent my item a week ago and that i should cancel the dispute with my credit company. i made her check the tracking and she confirms to me that it was shipped but there was no tracking info available, which means either she didnt send it or it got lost. i called my credit company and they said that since the amont being disputed was so little that they didnt dispute and that they just credited my account for that amount. i told them to reverse it again and they advised that i do nothing since i dont have the product in my hands and that i should leave as is for its too much trouble to change it back if i end up not receive the item. so the long story shot, turtlestuff is going to send me another 1lb bag. if somehow that first lost bag pops up at my doorstep, i will have 2 lb bag of mazuri for free. ha.....=)

nice blind, good luck using all those pellets, 1lb is a lot, 2lbs, now thats just ridiculous.
