Feeding and Nutrition :: question about romaine

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Is all romaine equally nutritious? I bought a bag of just romaine lettuce, and some of the leaves are really dark green, and some look more like iceberg lettuce. Should I stick to feeding the darker ones or doesn't it matter?

Are the lighter pieces, the pieces that are closest to the stalk? Mine won't eat anything that is close to the stalk, so I leave those pieces out. Other than that, I'd just throw it in...so long as you are sure that it is all romaine and not a mix.

The darker leaves would be more nutritious (would have gotten more sun/light), but the nutrtional value of two of the same type of vegetable can vary depending on the soil/water they've been grown in.
