I am wondering, if I have 3 kinds of edible water plants in the tank, do I need to offer other veggies at the same time? i give them carrots once a week too, but they really like Anacharis, Amazon swords, and Duckweed and ignore lettuce when I have any or all of the three in their tank. They are 4 months old, and getting Mazuri pellets as their staple food. Should I give them something else too? (They also get grapes or melon or cherries once a month too.)

You are offering a good variety, so I think you are fine. I've never really offered fruits but the occasional fish or cricket rounds out their diet.

They also get 6 rosies once a month, which usually last about that long, and an occasional earthworm. I am just hoping that I am giving them enough of variety in their veggies. Thanks for the affirmation Steve!
