Tough love approach. If the turtle is healthy, cut out the shrimp completely. He'll learn eventually.

I remember when I got my hatchlings one of them would not eat AT ALL! a week and he wouldn't eat I tried enticing him with dipping pellets in tuna water with no success. so I just gave him some tuna and held him down he finally took some bites and started eating. Once regularly eating I slowly migrated him to pellets soaked in tuna water and then just pellets no tuna water then veggies and so on. I guess the trick is to keep offerring. One thing I noticed my turtles wouldn't eat veggies at all. I hand fed them pellets and they got used to being fed like that so I cut up carrots and lettuce in small bits and handfed them they ate it and got used to it. So I guess you can try a similar approach. If he is used to being handfed mix some veggies and shrimp maybe in a blender and freeze for a while so its solid and then try to feed your turtle, keep offerring he will eat it! Remember shrimp should not be the staple of a turtles diet. They should consume more greens. Good luck!

Yes that's the problem shrimp only
But I try that with shrimp and veggies blended and frozen
I mean he gotten pretty big for the last 8 years I have fed him leftovers from dinner so he's eaten more than just shrimp
Lately tho its only shrimp

He should be getting mostly veggies and bit of pellets.
