Hey! I know the info is on this site somewhere, I just can't seem to find it. I remember reading a convenient list in the main site, but I can only read online for so long before my eyes complain.

What foods are good to help with shedding? In addition to blueberries?

Also, pyramiding?

My turtles have had some loose scutes for a while now and I think I need a diet change to help them, I'm concerned that algae or worse might start to grow under the loose scutes. Noticed a small white patch, it has me worried. Also one seems to have some pyramiding as well, and they both still have a pinkish color to their plastron. I think too much protein.

I was feeding reptomin and lettuce, with a jello shot 1 or 2 times a week. Snails and minnows about once a month.
I've switched their food to zoomed pellets, because of the lower protein rating. Haven't seen them eat any. Also haven't seen them eat at all in about a week- left their lettuce alone :( I've temporarily moved them back to the smaller tank because i discovered it's warmer than their new big home, and they have been happily killing my breeding snails all afternoon. Oh well, so much for lower protein. And a snail breeding tank. I'll move them back to the big tank when I've gotten the temperature problem under control.

Thanks for the help!

1 cup pureed veggie mix
-1 bag kale
-2 medium carrots
-1 medium tomato
-skin off large apple
-1/2 sweet potato
-1/2 cup blueberries
-1 can tuna in water
-1/2 cup calcium suppliment
(note: above ingredients are for 'shell matience' AKA- your turtle is not shedding correctly)

That's from the sticky at the top of feeding and nutrition forum... maybe that'll help :)
