I was wondering, does anyone know of any relatively easy plants you could grow inside that would be healthy for turtles to eat? I was thinknig that would be really convenient.
Anita - RES that's very pretty and seems stubborn.
Kain - Min Pin Chihuahua mix that thinks he owns the place.
Princess - PitBull that thinks she's 5 pounds.

I think some use duck weed, though they can quickly take over a tank.

I'm sorry, when I said potted plants I meant like plants you just kept in the house, not the tank. That way you could have them on hand, I was thinkin that would come in handy in between grocery store visits, but I couldn't think of what might be good for that?

Oh, I didn't read the well either :)

I don't know if anyone grows them indoors, but dandelion leaves are great for your turtle. There are many aquatic plants you can try growing if you have a tub just laying around or if you want to try a planted tank.

Hi,ive been growing basil(common) inside,my turtles go crazy for it. If you are experienced with plant growing and can manage to prevent it from blooming that would be an good choice.

dandelion is by far the best,i have no clue if it can grow inside as good as it grow in my backyard but its worth a try.

You could plant lettuce inside. Then you will have fresh salad for you as well!

OOO, Basil! I have that as well. Also parsley and dill and mint. Haven't tried the mint yet, but they like anything I put in the tank.
