Feeding and Nutrition :: Rosey Reds not in stock anymore?

So its been about 6 months time since i last bought a couple rosey reds for my turt as a treat and i felt that shes been eating really well over the last couple of weeks/months that she deserves a live treat!. Sad thing to find out is that the big al's near my house stopped carrying rosey reds . I went to 4 different local pet stores and none of them carried rosey red minnows and only carried "feeder fish" which look too fatty for my 6 yr old turt. Anybody in the mississauga/toronto area know of where i can buy rosey red minnows at? or any other type of fish where my turt can enjoy a chase?

Do they carry guppies? Guppies are also a good choice for feeders. (Not the fancy guppies, those will cost you a fortune.)

Have you tried the local bait store. Sometimes the have minnows.

I didn't see any rosy reds here until I went to Petsmart.
In my LFS, there were white cloud minnows sold as feeders. Like Jayme said, you could also look for guppies.

Why not try looking at the fish they typically sell in wal-mart? I could've sworn I saw some type of minnow or guppy in the one I go to.
