I don't think turtles are meant to be played with. They are meant to be enjoyed
from the outside of the tank. The other enjoyments are from cleaning the tank
and maintaining the optimum health of the turtles.

I always play with my turtles on a daily basis. i let my two RES out on the ground so they can walk around. i place objects around them so they have to climb over or go under them. they also love having their backs scratched. i also let them out in the yard to walk around and explore. there so fun to watch.

I play a couple of games with my turtles. Hurricane runs across my hands a lot, or chases my figure in the tank. Typhoon lets me bounce her up and down in the water.

I can't wait until they get over four inches, so I can take them outdoors and let them run around in the fresh air. I don't think they've ever had a chance to feel dirt or grass under their feet.

Mine 6+ in. female won't bite me at all I hand feed her and always have my hand in her tank. she just stares. When she is basking she will just watch me clean. I should just leave her in her tank as I clean it. she just stays basking anyways. She dosen't mind me grabbing her either she is very mellow. I think she might be a pot head. LMAO
