We were wondering if RES would normally eat there poop? We just noticed one of them doing that earlier. We feed them well and make sure they're diet has a variety of foods. We were gone for a day without feeding them but I wouldn't think that would make them THAT HUNGRY. However they do really want us to feed them ALOT. THX :)

its a normal thing to do. all RES do it.
Horsepower is how fast you hit a wall. Torque is how far you move a wall

I read somewhere that if they do that , maybe there not getting enough of something or maybe they're sick. So they're okay?

i wouldnt worry about it. they do it to pick up nutrients that they may have missed the first time. as long as your feeding properly i dont think its anything to worry about.

Yes, it's completely normal; plenty of turtles do that. I actually saw my turtles snacking on it for the first time today...

Remember, all their poo consists of is food that's been processed through their body. So it's like they're just eating food.

I just saw my turtle poop in the tank. Now I don't like putting my hands in there. I try to find gloves to wear when I take her out to feed her.

Their water isn't dirty. It all settles down to the bottom. Their poop consists mainly of digested turtle food. Just make sure and wash your hands after interacting with your turtle.

I always catch my turtle eating poo. He had a poo-stained mouth after a nice meal of poo once and it was ADORABLE. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I wanted to take a picture but I couldn't find the camera ):
