1) once a day is good, its not until adult size when you switch their diets up, but that is a long ways from now :]

2) baby shrimp, freeze dried shrimp, krill, and meaty things like those are good for treats. they are excessively high in protein, and too much of it can cause shell pyramiding, which is bad.

3) you can offer treats about once a week i would say, some people prefer to give treats twice a month though. the turtles really dont need that much.

4) getting your tiny turtles on a pellet diet is the first huge step towards a healthy life. i dont know what pellets you are using now, but reptomin baby is the BEST. its smaller, softer, and has some advantages. i know that babies do have trouble biting the larger reptomin and most pellets (i had to crush mine with a spoon). you could also try and introduce veggies as soon as youd like, romain and red leaf lettuce are some good starters. dont be discouraged if youre babies dont really find the lettuce as food, they will eventually, some turtles are just picky. try and relate turtles to babies and kids, most dont like veggies, but some do. you just ahve to keep trying because its really good for them!
