What can I do if I am going to be away on business for a week or two?

Is there any type of automatic feeder that can work? Or should I stock the tank with a bunch of feeder fish? Thanks for the help!

You can get an automatic feeder that will last for the time you're gone. Or you can have someone come in and feed them.

do the feeders made for fish flakes work for feeding pellets?

I've only seen ones for fish, flakes. but I'm not sure u might want to order one online.. You'll probably find one for pellets there. If your tank is big enough and your about to leave desperate to find something to do, just buy like 10 feeder fish or something, good luck.

Not necessarily. You have to make sure you can adjust the size of the opening to accommodate pellets, otherwise it will get clogged.
If you're going to be gone for such a long time, I'd get someone to check the turtles once of twice, just to make sure all the timers are running properly.

I have used a feeder with pellets successfully. I actually just used it for vacation for a few days.

It works fine with pellets as long as you don't overload it so the drum will turn.

Check out the ones on Petsmart.com, I saw quite a few on there, where you can preset feeding amounts. Some are kind of expensive though, so it depends on what your willing to spend.
