Feeding and Nutrition :: Is this a Rosie-red Minnow?? (pics)

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Post Posted: Mon Aug 11, 2008 4:23 pm   Is this a Rosie-red Minnow?? (pics)

I went to PetsMart to get some rosie red minnows a few days ago. I asked an employee for eight rosies (but he gave me nine lol).

The fishies were eaten in several days except for this one fish. His name is Legend, but I wont bond too much because he'll most likely get eaten some day.

It doesnt look like a rosie red minnow, but I'm not an expert. Could they have given my the wrong fish? :o

Any ideas what kind of fish it might be if it isnt a rosie?

Do you think they will be too fatty for the turtles?, or the same as a rosie?

To "TheOldSalt" on the fish forum: What?? I can't worry about my turtles eating something that they aren't recommended ???
