Feeding and Nutrition :: Can they eat Crickets?

Hey guys,
you know those little crickets they have in the pet stores, the ones they feed lizards, can a red ear eat them and be healthy??

Crickets can be an occasional treat, but they are not really very beneficial to a turtle's diet, and cannot be considered a staple of their diet.

Have you read through the nutrition section on the main page and the sticky notes in the forum on what to feed and what not to feed? That's a great place to start figuring out what constitutes a healthy RES diet.
