I didn't see a potato listed either way. Is it a good or bad idea? I searched and didn't see anything. I have a very picky turtle and I am running out of ideas!!

I would not try to feed your turtles potatoes.I don't think it is healthy.

a small portion of sweet potato is good, but I don't think potato is a very good idea. Maybe a small slice can be ok.

You can try carrots, lettuce, red leaf lettuce, collards, dandelions ( not ones sprayed with pesticides) and lots more other leafy vegetables.

No to regular potato (too starchy) but, as noted, some sweet potato or yam would be fine. My turtles love either, and I "serve" it lightly steamed to soften it up and in pieces that are a bit smaller than head size. :D
