I'm Perty new to being a RES owner, so if anybody has any ideas or somebody sees anything that should be improved, please tell me..... here we go

That's a great pond!

Just make sure they can't escape from the basking area and fall over the sides... that looks like quite a distance to tumble.

Also, with the pond being outdoors- I'd get rid of the light. I wouldn't want it to somehow fall into the pond.

Very true on the light.. thought about the same exact thing... I mean its out doors they have the sun right.. lol

looks great! I wish i lived back home and could keep my turts in a pond so they could get some real sunlight and out door experience. (im going to school in the city so a large aquarium is the best i can do). Do you have all of your turts living in the pond? How many gallons? What material are you using as the ramp?

Maybe you can try using some meshing to cover the basking areas .
2 Mini. Schnauzers - Yukie, Sukie.
3 Red Ear Sliders - Winina, Winana, Winona.
3 Fire-bellied Newts.
A monster fishes community tank .

Looks like heaven from a turtle's point of view! They are lucky guys/ladies.

Is the basking area actually above water? They need to be able to bask where the shells can completely dry out - top and bottom - every day.

And I agree about the light - you really don't need it in an outdoor setting.

dayem thats pretty clean water....how do you maintain it like that? Also, is your pond under a patio or roof?....
