Does anyone know where I could purchase a stock tank in the Los Angeles area? I saw the links for the farming websites in the sticky but I have a feeling shipping is quite high on them.

I am looking for preferbly a rubbermaid one. Between 150 Gallons and 300 Gallons.

Google stock tanks and you might be able to find a seller in the LA area. I did that and found one within bussing range of me only prob is the bus that goes into that area is like once every 3 hours... =P

You can look for some local farm stores. This way you don't ahve to worry about shipping.

Doesn't hurt to check craigslist... people don't always use them for farm applications.

I found a 150 gallon Rubbermaid with wheels for 40 dollars on Craiglist.....I removed the heavy duty wheels and bolted/siliconed the holes.. I think the wheels maybe worth 25 dollars : ) ................ I'm saving the wheels so if I ever build a furniture moving deck : )
