Hey, i got my tuts a new 20 gallon tank. Check it out, they share the place with 3 zebra danio and 3 fire belly newts. I guess the tuts are too small to even want to bother the other guys, they attempted to feed on the danios but after a long chase the danios proved to fast for them. i've had them all together for about a week and a half with no deaths or injuries, hope it last.
rate my setup and let me know what you guys think.
But you don't really want to put your newts with the turtles...chinese fire-bellies prefer more cooler tempertatures and there is always a chance where your turtle will try to bite the newts and the newts may release some toxins which may poison your turtle....Just some advice....

2 Chinese Goldenthread turtles ~ Miso&Mafan
1 Chinese Box turtle ~ Chief Lemon
2 Redfoot Tortoises ~ Sheegua & Muugua
1 Toy Poodle ~ Pudding
3 firebellied newts ~ Cassandra, Mr.Poo, and Wiggles.
Interesting look with the greek columns and greenery. Very creative!
I'd lose the white gravel, though. It's pretty but it's dangerous. turtles try to eat it and it stops them up and can cut them inside.
Here's an idea that you may or may not find appealing. If you want to hide the wiring behind the tank you can use one of those backgrounds with color or a scene on it.
