You're not realy supposed to put anything in the bottom of the tank, but if you dont like how the tank look's then you can always buy some plants for it? I think it look's fine :)

You can put a background on the tank to make it look fuller. It looks like you may have part of one. You can put in plants or a handful of large rocks. You can even tape pictures of rocks to the bottom. I think I'm going to tape a map to the bottom of mine.
It's a little hard to tell from the picture... but I hope you're not balancing that tank on a round end table. Because that would be a really really bad idea.

well im not exactly balancing it on a round table it just is like few inches off on each side it looks like way more in the pic but its really only a few inches or so and the backround there was from their old 10gallon tank XD

A handful of river rocks and a couple of plants - maybe plastic ones so they last - would be very attractive.

You could put a background under the tank (I've seen some nice rock ones) to take away the glassy bottom. I'd add some river rocks for your turtle to push around and some fake plants, either suctioned to the bottom of the tank or floating (or both).

Bare glass bottom in a tank isn't all bad.....it's easy to keep clean. I have a few larger river rocks on there, but since there are only a few, it's easy to maintain.

My turtle is an adult RES & she's very messy. So I have to work hard at keeping the water very clean. The less things I have to clean in her tank, the better.

I just took all my rocks off the bottom because of the *nasty waste* factor...and Im thinking of wallpaper also. I already have it on all sides but the front so she wouldnt be so jumpy! Helps alot!

I do have a couple fake plant ornaments on the bottom that she perches on to rest, but other than that...so clean and EASY to clean! The more the MESSIER! I think..lol Not that it doesnt look asthetically pleasing..BUT turts are piglets...:D

I think wallpaper backgroud on the back and sides would brighten up the look really nice!
