Whats funny is Tweak actually won the battle.

This past week we have seen some weird characteristics between the "kids". Ziggy hides in the turtle log all day/night, until he wants to bask. And Lucifer was really skiddish twoards Tweak.

Well....i woke up at 7:30pm from my after work nap, and to my supprise i saw Ziggy's head inside Tweak's mouth! Not only that, but Tweak was actually inside the turtle log, which he has never even been seen inside.

I imediatly took Tweak out of the tank, and he is now inhibiting another tank for the time being. Dont know how long, or even if he will end up back in the tank. Too sad.

I REALLY didnt expect Tweak to be the bully, I thought he would have been eaten first. Which he probably would have been if it happened during the day when no one is home.

Do u mean the fish was trying eating the turtle's head?
Or was the turtle just looking around in his mouth?

You mean fish eat RES ? I dont't think so. That's strange.
What kind of fish your Tweak is ?

Aren't Catfish the fish that you can supposedly "datch" by putting your arm into holes in the sides of ponds and letting them bite you? (I don't think that's true. It sounds like a stupid thing to do what with potential snakes and everything). Anyways, I was under the impression that certain kinds get very large.

Anyway, I guess the trying out the head thing isn't all that surprising?

Certain catfish get HUGE! Really! I think what you call fishing for catfish by putting your arm in a hole is noodling. In effect it's using an arm for bait. I don't think catfish are dangerous though. I don't think they eat other fish, for example. Can't imagine why one was trying to swallow a turtle's head. Maybe it was just confused.
