Habitat - Indoor :: URGENT! A tank question

Hello, i used to have just one res who loved his 10 gallon tank, and well when i went to the caranaval again this year i won 2 mor RES hatchlings so now i got a prob 3 RES in a 10 gallon tank... After looking at this page i was thinking of making a pong type deal for my RES and since i am a 20 year old college student i was thinking of going to walmart and buying one of those storage bin deal. if u know what im talkin about? Beacause at this time in my life i can not afford nor do i have the room for a bigger tank. So do you think this is a good idea or not??? I mean i dont think the plastic that is used in those bins are toxic and if would give the RES alot more swimming room than the 10 gallon tank! Any other idea would be greatly appreciated. Also it is 4:25 A.M here in pa and i will be leaving to do my wal mart trip around 1230 1 P.M so need help pretty quick! thanks!!!

Rubbermaid storage bins are actually quite popular as temporary homes.

Just some facts for you though that might make you rethink arrangement. Not sure how much room you have though.

Rule of thumb is 10 gallons of water per inch of shell

Any new hatchlings should be quarantined for 90 days. They are good at hiding illness and you don't want to make your current healthy habitat infected. Also, if they aren't close to the same size, they should be separated so that the large of them doesn't accidently injure or kill the smaller ones.
