Rubbermaid storage bins are actually quite popular as temporary homes.
Just some facts for you though that might make you rethink arrangement. Not sure how much room you have though.
Rule of thumb is 10 gallons of water per inch of shell
Any new hatchlings should be quarantined for 90 days. They are good at hiding illness and you don't want to make your current healthy habitat infected. Also, if they aren't close to the same size, they should be separated so that the large of them doesn't accidently injure or kill the smaller ones.
