its time for juggernaut and pebbles to move! there getting to big for their 30 gallon, so i was going to get 2, 50 gallon rubbermaid tubs and "link" them together using like a thick tube or something. One tub would be for swimming and the other would be 1/2 for swimming and 1/2 for basking. i'd get 2 large turtle docks. this is until i have enough moo-la for the indoor pond. what do you think?

Rubbermaid tubs tend to bow with water in them. That's why they are considered temporary housing. By cutting a hole in them to link them, you are seriously compremising the stability of the plastic. I think your better option would be to go with a stock tank, or preformed pond. Check around on the preformed ponds, I've seen them on sale recently because it is the end of the season for them. If it's still out of price range for now, then I would go with two set ups in the rubbermaids, and not link them.

yeah i thought about that. There getting so big! (almost too big) but for now im going to get
(1)- rubbermaid 50 gallon
(2)-XP3 or XP4 ill have to research since the xp4 just came out and dont know if it preforms like its brothers and sisters
(3) 1 stealth heater
(4)new zoo-med turtle dock... *sigh* i've been through 3....
