Habitat - Indoor :: New tank! (Suggestions?)

Yay! I finally bought a new tank! 75Gal It's not set up yet, but I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions as to what to make it more interesting. So far, all that it will have in it is his basking ramp, and about a dozen river rocks. I was thinking of building a rock "cave" (I have some flat rocks, I was going to hot glue them together with a long rock on top so he could swim under etc.)
It just seems like it'll be kind of empty *lol* Should I get some fake plants or something? Or leave it plain-ish? Any suggestions?

Check the kinds of products that are in your glue before using it for any project that is going in your tank. In my tank, besides the rocks, I have a couple of aquarium decorations (a sunken bell and boat), some fake plants, and a pvc elbow that they love to swim through. How you keep your tank is really up to your preferences. Just remember, the more you put in, the harder it is to keep clean!

Fake greenery? Real plants Ralph just destroys for the fun of it He hardly eats them, just shreds them. And I haven't been able to find that one plant a lot of you use, anchris I think it's called?

I'd love to get a couple decorations, especially a sunken ship, but it has to be something that is at least as wide as it is tall, because I find otherwise it just gets knocked over. A lot of the decorations I've seen are tall and narrow :S

Yay! I finished the basic up today, and he's in there tonight Will post a few pics when everythings done

I want a pirate ship or skull or something o.o That'd be awsome! Although, he doesn't seem to mind just the few rocks I'll find a fake plant or two though

A word to the wise - be SURE that your turtle can't get his shell or his head stuck in any of your decorations. Even if you think he/she would have better sense than to stick his/her head or body in a place so tight he/she couldn't get it out... believe me, he/she will. They are really curious and adventurous and will try anything. I nearly lost my beloved Spotty to drowning when he got his head stuck - really stuck - in the hole in the bottom of a little plaster alligator. It was his very favorite toy and I hated throwing it away.

I looked at some fake plants today, and they're kind of small, and... lame... Unless you have a whole bunch of them, they'd look kind of sad in there. And, they're expensive! They're about $12+ for one medium size plant :S
I can get real potted plants 3 for $10 Only problem is Ralph destroys them completly in a day or two, so they end up making an expensive snack
