Hi, so my friend wanted me to post this. So, he has an adult red eared slider and yeah..see for yourself. It's a 10 gallon tank, no sun contact or UVB/UVA bulb, and yeah. You can see.

Obviously he needs to put some time and effort into this if he wants his turtle to thrive.

Told him that, he said he'll probably get a bigger tank soon.

Is he sure it's an adult? I think that turtle still might have some growing to do.

Is 6 years old considered an adult?

Not sure, but it's likely a female.

Then there could be some growing to do. I'm a bit lucky and my female isn't huge like some of the other girls here.
