Please help!

I have 2 new (baby) Red Ear Sliders. They seem to be in a very nice environment for their size (pics attached). They have the proper lighting, filtered and treated water, a water heater and a basking platform. They've been in their new digs (20 gal long) for about a week.

They are just about the same size (~1.5"), but only one will bask. I assume the basking temp is okay and that there are no issues with accessing the platform since one does it regularly.

Any ideas?

Thank you!!

What temp is your water and basking area? The one may be shy and not like to bask when it can be seen.

Thanks for the reply!

The water is a constant 80 and the basking area is 90-92 with the lamps on (12 hrs/day).

The water is a bit warm. You might want to lower it to 75-78 degrees

I would also try to cover the sides a bit to offer more privacy. Welcome to the site!
